The weekend that was. Sort of

Going with the momentum generated by the events earlier in the week I went on the “prowl”.  Of course when I say Prowl what I actually mean is go to bars and try and find loose women or at least women that will speak to me.  (Doesn’t take much these days to keep me happy)

Ah, now that I have music, let us attempt this entry again, eh?

Anyway feelin’ quite good on Friday, had some overtime so decided to leave a tad early.  Shit it’s Friday and I’m gonna be workin’ the whole of next weekend in St. Louis so what the hell.  Popped out with Quagmire to have a couple of games of darts at a bar near work.  When we walked in the cutest of there bartenders starts jumping up and down clapping her has and sayin’, “Oh my God!  Are you here to drink?!”, all squeaky like.  We usually only see her at lunch time.  Don’t understand the excitement..

Had a couple of games of let’s thrash Krave within an inch of his darters life.  Then I think he got bored.  I don’t even think he was sorry for me, he was just bored of playing with himself.  Back at the bar and it’s now 5 and the place is busy, very nice view but no attention.  Ah well.

We left and I still had a hankerin’ to go out.  Called Fomudder and confirmed that he was going to be going out.  Yep!  Sweet!  If there were ladies to be talked to it would be in Youngsville!  Hee-hee.  Nipped home to get cash, of course in this day and age, that involves logging into the bank and transferring cash to the correct account…  Who would of thunk it.

When I get to Youngsville, (drove myself, bad, bad boy!), Fomudder is shite faced.  This is like 6:30 in the evening now mind.  Turns out he’d just closed a big project and was smoozing a client and succeeded in getting some more work out of him.  This involved loads of booze of course.  Ah well.  Stayed in Youngsville for a couple of hours.  Long enough to realise that it was dead.  And Fommudder was starting to get a tad chatty with – er – anything that moved.

Drove home.  Yes I know.  Goes against my beliefs as well.

Needed to continue.  Grabbed the book bag and went to the local.  The Friday night bartender was all smiles and happiness to see me!  Which in itself is a tad shocking.  Must have been because Surly wasn’t there perhaps ;)

So while reading my book and sipping Guinness, I notice that the place is full!  All couples but it’s full!  How cool is that?!  “Eh?”  I can hear ya.   This was the first weekend that the deck was closed due to inclement weather.  What I’m trying to say is that it was always busy but that they were always hanging out, outside!

All was going well until I was accused later in the evening of been a “terrible Father”.  This from a drunken women suckin’ on a fake cigarette and who wouldn’t let her fiancée discipline her kids.  At least that’s what I think was happening.  I was a bit toasty by that time :)

All in all though.  A good night.

Read the missive on Saturday after the rabid hangover wore off.  Ahh.  Yes.  More on that another time.

Unfair how you slipped in that comment about the missive at the very end of your post. Now of course, I can't get on with my day until I hear what the verdict was.
Geez, you really know how to keep a girl interested, don't you?

Any questions regarding my feeling about "her email" please see my comment in the previous post. "Evil!" I says. Oh, and I'm going home.

I think you should just post the missive for us all to read and comment on.

Snooze, I thought about it. I really did, but that wouldn't be fair to her. She doesn't know what the site is called so she can't defend herself.. I will however be honest im my reporting of what was written.

No Surly I will not publish it just to piss her off. (He would have suggested it if he was here.)
