Holy crap it's only what time!
So after a very frustrating day yesterday – I was on a headlong rush to recover from the backlog of mail and tickets – I managed to get it all done. Now however I have bugger all to do!
I’ve been sitting here all afternoon reading my book and wondering if I can slip home and “work” from the comfort of my basement sofa, in front of the 57” TV. Not today I can’t. Perhaps tomorrow.
Stayed at the girlies last night, she asked if I could run her to work cos she’s going camping with the kids she works with and doesn’t want to leave her car there. So being the Gentleman that I am, I said I would.
Now, I was so worried that I didn’t know where to go, even though she would be navigating, that I kept waking up every hour from about 2am. Convinced that it was 8 already and time to get up. I even prodded her a couple of time to see why she wasn’t waking me up. Oh I don’t have a watch.
Sufficed to say that I am absolutely knackered this afternoon and I know the Librarian is going to be coming back from her expedition and gabber at me for a couple of hours. So I can’t even nap under the desk! *sigh*
Oh did I forget to mention that although with the girlie navigating and interrogating me about “the married lady” – for some reason that title is very disturbing – it took 10 minutes to get to her work. It took me and hour and a half to find my way home via the “hood” though. Very exciting morning all-in-all.
Yours tiredly,
Krave.
